Privacy Policy Summary: Your Data & Your Images
At MedAEye Technologies Inc., we treat your data with the same precision our AI uses to analyze tissue. Because this is a Research Use Only (RUO) platform, our privacy focus is on two things: Anonymity and Security.
If you choose to use our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information we collect is used for providing and improving the service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this privacy policy.
The terms used in this privacy policy have the same meanings as in our terms and conditions, which are accessible here and here unless otherwise defined in this privacy policy.
The "Clean Data" Rule (De-identification)
Before you upload any image (DICOM, JPEG, etc.), you are responsible for "scrubbing" it.
No PHI: You must ensure the image contains no Protected Health Information (e.g., patient name, SSN, exact date of birth, or medical record numbers).
Metadata Scrubbing: Our system will attempt to automatically strip any remaining metadata (EXIF/DICOM tags) upon upload as a secondary safety net.
How We Use Your Images
We don't sell your data to advertisers (we aren't that kind of tech company). We use your uploads for:
The Analysis: Running the specific tissue abnormality detection you requested.
Algorithm Improvement: Unless you "Opt-Out," we may use de-identified images to "teach" our AI to be more accurate.
Internal Validation: Ensuring our software meets the rigorous standards required for future regulatory submissions.
Data Storage & Security
Access Control: Only a strictly limited number of authorized researchers and engineers have access to the backend database, and all access is logged.
Retention: Uploaded files are immediately deleted following registration. Registered images including regions of interest that you define, along with our analysis reports, are available for use and download for 24 hours after upload, after which they are deleted.

For a better experience while using our service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

No Commercial Selling: Your medical images will never be sold to third-party data brokers.
Service Providers: For example, we may use secure cloud infrastructure (like AWS HealthOmics or Google Cloud Healthcare API) to process data, but they act only as "data processors" and do not own your data.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
